Photography

Most of my photographic work somehow looks at the edges between culture and nature. It's probably a long-passé notion to call it a frontier but—Romantic that I am—I'll call it that anyway. At the heart of it is a sense of love and sense of loss for what there was, and frequently an unsettled acceptance to outright rejection of what the new brings.

There, I've said it, branded myself a nostalgic slouch, but these margins, this contested spaces are often really interesting, incredibly beautiful and—gosh—even a little funny sometimes.
